Wow... they're looking great! Wonderful craftsmanship!
There's just something special about wood in combination with the hi-tech.

Some fringe Mormon groups believe in blood atonement. So they'd be able to get away with murder.

In my view I don't see a problem with apple telling us more about this product.
Well that's all well and good, but what do you want us to do about it? Nobody who knows any further info is willing to talk.

The stuff used on the heatsink is NOT an adhesive. It is just a compound that maximises the heat transfers between CPU and heatsink. The heatsink MUST be held down with the screws.
From the looks of it, you've either got a damaged bottom case (screw mount knocked off) or a bottom case for the wrong model (slightly different fittings).

I use OmniWeb 5.1 - yes, it is not free after a trial period, but it is the "power user's" browser.
Give it a go, see how you like it. They have educational discounts; its $30, $20 if you are a student.
It really is amazing.
Oh, and other than being a happy customer, I'm not affliated w/ Omnigroup

Depends on what you mean by "handle." It shouldn't be that hard to accept that in 2 years the video demands from gaming will probably be much greater than today.

I can include one Zip 100 disc with jewel case. The drive is a Zip 250 from Iomega, a nice blue plastic like the iMac G3s and in mint condition. I think it has USB and SCSI, not sure though. Make me an offer that includes shipping for the drive and disc.

i would say keep the 16GB iphone 4, this way you cant get screwed any more than you already have. if you send it back and he doesnt send you a 32GB then you are stuck with absolutely no iphone AND you'll be out $650

...file > export > layouts as project > pick version 8. Will this work in 8.5?
Yes, should do :)
All versions of QuarkXpress should open docs which were created with earlier versions. Though there is the occasional passport / multi-langauage version problem which is just a pain in the bum: "This is a multiple language document and can only be opened in QuarkXPress Passport. [287]" *but that's a different topic entirely.

Go back to the store with an AT&T Wireless phone and press *ID (*43) and hold the phone up to the headphones for 15 sec and it will text message you the name/artist of the song.

Ouch, I can see Steve cringing about this.
Nice gadget, but what is up with the 'half-hat' design and the protruding metal bars from the skip?

I don't shoot weddings but can imagine how stressful that would be. But I loved the bit about the day being more about celebrarption than ceremony. If I ever get married again, that's absolutely what I would want (but we all know that what I want becomes irrelevant long before that day arrives :p ;) )

I can't read japanese, the but the translation seems to make sense..
basically new Superdrive/Bluetooth Powerbooks coming... no change in the case. The same as what has previously been reported... so no real new info.
They don't have a known track record... we'll see in the coming weeks I suppose.

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. Here's the thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1125400
Apple are usually conservative about their SSDs, they don't go for the top of the line SSDs. So, it is normal to see conservative speed from Apple's SSDs.
TRIM enabler is a hack, and some people have reported that their read/write speeds have dropped significantly after installing it on their macs. I'm worried that it even does the job, but I am guessing it just changes the kernel so that instead of saying 'No' it says 'Yes' under TRIM support in SERIAL-ATA.

"Macintosh[int++]" whoa. that's really weird. anyways... i only have mac os 10.1 and the password thing worked as you said except mine doesnt accept the "one digit less" one though. weird.
