Hi Dave, sadly your choices are very limited, you can keep 4.3.1 and buy a self powered USB hub (one with batteries in it, or with an AC adpter) or if you saved your SHSH Blobs go back to 3.2 software, that is your only options now....

Here are two avatars with roller coasters as background images and an Apple logo (thank god for option-shift-k) in the foreground. Roller coasters mean a lot to me, as they're 1/3 of my life. They're also why my nickname on Mac sites are MacCoaster.
Bonus points to anyone who can identify the following for both: roller coaster name and the theme park in which they are found.
Edit: By the way, I took those pictures myself at the theme park when I went.

Screw that. I vote they move towards a naming system like with OSX. Instead of using big cats, they use fruit.
Next iteration of iPhone = iPhone Banana.
After that, iPhone Papaya.
I would support this idea, except everyone will think you're talking about a smoothie rather than a phone.

Hmmm...a GoW movie would be quite gay. Literally, quite gay. A bunch of Muscle Mary's prancing about with their big guns. They could just make it into porn.

Find out what your employer's policy is on external websites -- often, a company will want to enforce standards of graphic design, security, product information and claims, copyright and legal information. Having an outside website representing their products could create a risk or liability situation for the company. They may already have a means to allow their sales reps to maintain contact pages on the corporate site.
Thanks for the nix on .biz!
And I plan on involving my employer before making any final move. I would like to have a site ready to switch on, and for them to see prior to switching it on.
I have read some threads where some like asmallorange.com is that a fairly good place? should I register my names through or with their help? I can find a good web person or two to do the work for me, incase they are end up being friends willing to do it cheap, how much would the work normally cost (avg type work) so I can pay them what they deserve?

I started off web design back when I was in grade 5 (in 1996). Back when Netscape was dominant and had a built in web editor. My motivation back then was to create a site about video games (Info, Screens, Cheats, etc), ever since I got hooked up :p
I'm 19, and I still haven't actually made any money from my web design work, so it's basically just a hobby. The problem with me is that I get a lot of those "designer's block" every now and then (I'm in one right now, and it drives me insane! ) The only way to get rid of it is "time"...

Send feedback to Apple!!!
I agree with you guys - a dialog with "Cancel, Replace, Merge" should be implemented! And that bizarre undo thing ought to be fixed!
I have done this before, although I didn't lost anything of importance. I basically "replaced" a folder with the same name, assuming it'll merge like it does in Windows. That was about two years ago when I was brand new to OS X. Now I know better.

Lots of good advice for Wordpress here and don't get me wrong I love Wordpress. But as it's a company website and not going to be a blog doesn't anybody think that a CMS designed for business like Drupal or Joomla would be more appropriate?
Rather than having to go into heavy CSS editing the available templates may be more suited without modification.
Just a thought

although its really, really bad luck what your cat did, it sounds like a logic board problem, but even if you were still in warranty, apple dont cover water spills. i hope its not too bad for you though. best take it to the apple store and have it checked.

If ANYONE falls for that, they deserve what they get. The grammar in that email makes me sick.
You know who will fall for that? People who fell for the iPad in the first place.

Looking to buy office 2004 or 2008. Of course, they have to be legit un-activated cds. Don't want to pay more than $100 and less for 04. If you got anything, please reply. Thanks

You need to put a colon before "Category", for example:
[[:Category:XYZ]]

No, I mean the toolbar itself, as you can see in the following attachment. The drop-down menu is fine.
Eh? The font is about the same size as Camino and Safari. Though I did notice the bold looked off in aqua so I had just gotten rid of it. I had some major font inconsistancy going on.

Already did that earlier, pretty ****ing useless they were too, weren't really interested in applying much pressure.
It's all driving me nuts.
Wow, your ins co sucks. Dont they have a satisfaction pledge or something of the sort there? My policy specifically states that any insurance repair will return the car in a "showroom" condition. A glued on A-pillar trim isn't showroom condition.
at least they're willing to replace it after all.

All the posters in this thread seem to be for the AV but none have responded with a strong argument for it... Does this tell you something?
So far in the last few weeks whenever i have been involved with such a conversation no one who has been FOR the AV has argued a strong case, i would love someone to tell me what is so great about it?
Compare and contrast if you will... I ask this because the advantages of it are just not obvious to me.
