Who's going to buy this 'technology'?
My point is, that if for example Microsoft or Napster wanted Fairplay hacked, they'd have paid someone to do it long ago. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they'd love to sell iPod compatible tracks, but not by the back door.

thanks for the reply!! :) another question about the graphic card... is AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5 of MBP15 good enough to render? I compared it with 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics with Optimus of dell xps15. Which is better?
The 6750 noticeably outpaces the Gt540 in almost all benchmarks.

Apple displays will have to be updated before the end of the year to keep their promise of eliminating harmful chemicals etc. for Greenpeace's sake. When I don't know, I would think either very soon 1 month or late summer.

There has to be some incentive to work harder. Taxing him at 50% or so would be OK though.
One thing I think no one talks about is how many perks wealthy individuals get from the government but don't have to pay for in proportion to what they use.
Being a billionaire makes you more and more reliant on a competent government bureaucracy that can keep monetary channels safe and secure, a strong police force to keep insurance costs down, and on the courts to hear the more voluminous litigation you're going to bring.
In another vein, and I hate to sound crass, if the FAA really messes up and a plane lands on me, the loss to me is much smaller than it is for Bill Gates. As a percentage of all economic damages that can occur if regulatory agencies fail, Bill Gates and those in his income and assets bracket represent far more than what they pay for in Federal taxes.
Shouldn't they pay more since they are capable? I mean we don't expect welfare recipients to pay for welfare because they don't have the income or assets to begin with. But why are we letting billionaires and those approaching billionaires get away with so much welfare? US income tax (and capital gains tax rates, which is really what a billionaire would pay) rates promote some pretty lavish welfare queens if you were to look at the amount of net benefit received.
I think it's also highly suspect that Bill Gates worked harder for his second $10 billion than his first.

I don't know if it's MR or not. The admins need the URL and a screenshot. If it is from MR, the admins can contact the ad service and have it removed.

You didn't mention your Cydia version; I will assume it is 1.0.3222-73. This is a long shot, but you might try installing the newer version of Cydia, 1.0.3366-1, to see if that helps. You can get it here:
http://apt.saurik.com/debs/cydia_1.0.3366-1_iphoneos-arm.deb
You would need to use SSH to put this on your iPhone, somewhere like /var/stash. Then you would navigate to the .deb file in iFile, tap it and select Installer from the menu.
The problem with cracked apps, aside from the piracy aspect, is that you would never really know what you are getting.
By the way, that "essential upgrade" was like a month ago wasn't it? And your Cydia apparently was working for a while after that. Did you install that Icy app? I tried that and found it was making the AppStore act funny and I had to get rid of it. I never saw a problem with Cydia, but maybe because I never actually installed much of anything with Icy.

Uhm... "Dock, The" just looks weird (and meaningless) to me. Better to just drop the "The" completely then.
I'm on board with that. Looks better.

I used to always use Opera on Windows, but I use Firefox now.
If only Firefox had Fast Forward and Rewind like Opera, then it would be great...
I might check out Opera8 if I find time.

So where does that leave us? Is the one that veeence talks about the one in the same as comex first discovered? Or is he referring to d0fxyn's jb being fake? The more I think about it, it seams to be the later.

In any case, hardly surprising. I like Microsoft software, but they sure can suck out the excitement of doing just about anything.

I would say they store them for a month at least. Text messages and call histories are a big part of forensics nowadays. Last week I saw a program about tricky murders in Finland (one case per episode) and SMSs were a crucial part of the investigation. From the SMSs, the police found out that a guy owned several grands to the victim and in the end, that was the motive of the murder.
I don't know if the laws are different there but storing the SMSs can actually be a good thing.

Thanks for the link!
I took it to an Apple store today and they diagnosed it as the graphics card failure. They are replacing the MLB for free (would be a $863 repair otherwise..ouch.)
Knightrider, I suggest you do the same thing! It was a pretty quick diagnosis and I should have it back within 3-5 days.

What do you guys think of the new little template I made at the bottom. It's an attempt to let the internet-at-large somehow provide some feedback for the Guides. I realize that the internet-at-large is able to edit the guide directly, but some users may feel daunted by that, when all they really want to do is ask for more information or something.
I'm certain that a random user will need more information that he may not have himself. This simply provides them an easier mechanism to ask.

If the battery is accepting a charge, it would generate heat as well as the charger. If it does not, then it migh be your DC-in board.
I think you are right, when the cord is in the laptop it does not make any heat of any sort and the noise is made by something which is inside the casing.
